I’ve never had a relationship my whole life. Having the experience would be nice of course, but I’m not in a rush. Sure, I’ve had butterflies in my stomach, flushed cheeks, and all that good stuff, but I really don’t want to have a relationship based off of pure infatuation. I’m just going to take my time, because I don’t need romance in my life to feel happy. As long as I have my family and friends, I’m gonna continue to cross my legs, sip some water, and enjoy life.
“It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. This is how the whole scheme of things works. All good things are difficult to achieve; and bad things are very easy to get.”—Confucius (via carlosterly)
“By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.”—Confucius (via grim-philosopher)
